There are situations in which Hensel collects your data. It is therefore important that you know what is done with that data and how you can indicate your preferences regarding your data. That is what this statement is about. If you are uncomfortable with Hensel’s use of your data, please feel free to contact us! We collect personal data for a number of purposes. These are explained below.

01. Sending newsletters

Hensel sends newsletters via email. These newsletters are partly commercial and partly aimed at sharing knowledge. Your (company) name and email address are collected through the designated form on our website. In addition, you may be asked verbally or in writing to sign up.

02. Contacting Us

Your data will be collected when you contact us or place orders through the website. However, this form only asks for the information necessary to provide a proposal or service, such as your name, company name, email address, and phone number.

03. Analytics

The Hensel website collects your data to improve the website. This is done using Google Analytics. This data is anonymous and is therefore not linked to your personal information. Examples include information such as the duration of your website visit or the pages you visit frequently.

04. Brevo

Newsletters are sent using Brevo. When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address and first name are automatically stored in the designated list within Brevo.

05. Transip

Hensel Nederland’s website, email, and backups are hosted by Transip. If you contact us via the forms or by email, those emails are stored on Transip’s servers.

06. Security

No physical copies of your personal data are made. Your data is managed exclusively within the aforementioned systems and software.

The personal data managed by us or by the aforementioned third parties is accessible only through the software listed above and is secured with a password and, where possible, two-factor authentication.

With this two-factor authentication, a code is generated by the software and sent to Hensel Nederland. This code must be used during the login process.

The devices used to access your data are each locked with a password and/or fingerprint. The number of devices with access to your data is limited to only those that are necessary.

In addition, your visit to our website is secured by an SSL certificate. This means that your connection to the Hensel Nederland website is private. You can recognize this security by the green padlock icon next to the URL.

07. Right of Access

You have the right to request access to your data recorded and stored by Hensel Nederland at any time. You can do this by sending an email or contacting us by phone. You will then receive an overview of your data.

08. Right to Rectification

Is your information incorrect? Or has your information changed? You have the right to have Hensel Nederland correct it. You can update your newsletter information via the link provided at the bottom of each email.

09. Right to Data Portability

If you need the data we have stored about you in the event that you switch to another party or service, you have the right to data portability. In this case, Hensel must transfer all your data to the other party.

10. Right to erasure

Do you no longer want your data to be stored by Hensel Nederland? Then you have the right to have your data erased.

11. Right to File a Complaint

You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you believe Hensel is not handling your data properly. You can do so via this link.

12. Right to Stop Data Use (Objection)

Do you not want Hensel to use your data? Then you have the right to stop the use of your personal data.

You can exercise these rights by sending an email to info@hensel-studiotechniek.nl, attaching a copy of your ID in which the passport photo, the numbers at the bottom of the passport, the ID number, and your BSN have been redacted. We aim to respond within one week.

12. Obligations

Hensel processes personal data based on a legitimate interest, specifically a commercial interest. This includes offering Hensel’s services or products via email. Your data will never be sold to third parties.

The data you are required to provide is the minimum necessary to offer the services or products. For example, your email address is needed to send the newsletter. If this required information is not provided, Hensel Netherlands will be unable to offer the service in question. Should it be necessary to share information you have provided to VersGemerkt with parties other than those mentioned above (for example, to provide a service), your consent will be requested first.

Hensel reserves the right to disclose the data when required by law or when Hensel Nederland deems it justified to comply with a legal request or proceeding, or to protect our rights, property, or safety. In doing so, we always strive to respect your right to privacy as much as possible.
