The RØDE VideoMic Pro is a compact directional microphone specifically designed for use with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, camcorders and portable audio recorders. This used example is in near mint condition.
The microphone features a supercardioid polar pattern. This focuses on sound coming from in front of the camera while reducing surrounding sound from the sides. This makes the VideoMic Pro particularly suitable for video recording, interviews, reportage, events and content creation. RØDE Microphones
The frequency range extends from 40 Hz to 20 kHz. In addition, the microphone features a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter. This can reduce low frequencies such as traffic noise, air conditioning and other low-frequency rumble. RØDE Microphones
The three output level settings (-10 dB, 0 dB and +20 dB) allow the signal to be adjusted to suit the recording conditions and camera being used. The integrated shock mount also helps isolate vibrations and handling noise from the camera. Rode
The VideoMic Pro attaches to the camera via a standard camera shoe mount and uses a 3.5 mm TRS mini-jack connection. The microphone is powered by a 9V battery and weighs just 85 grams, adding very little extra weight to the camera. Rode
